That and custom levels for Pistol Whip will be more complicated cause you have to actually build a level and the paths for the enemies.Pistol Whip Free Download v PC game in a pre-installed direct link with updates and dlcs, for mac os x dmg from Nintendo Switch. I could be wrong ofcourse but it was kind of a mess when Beat Saber introduced 90 and 360 degree levels long after custom levels. I almost agree but what I think the developer wants to do is first make sure all the gameplay mechanics are fully complete so that when the editor does arrive, custom maps will be able to utilize everything. You very well could have a good contender to Beat Saber on your hands. ![]() Think about this if you start to see your numbers drop. In my opinion the pros outweigh the cons, and the cons are one-sided. I'm sure you understand the effect that custom maps will have on your game. You cannot expect your player base to care about your "official content". Custom track support remains on our feature wishlist yes we want it, but it’s not on our short term roadmap.īad response. We have a big vision for Pistol Whip, and part of that has been delivering handcrafted new scenes and new features in the months since launch and in the months to come. Right now our priority is bolstering the base game with more official content. Originally posted by thermyy:Hey there, thanks for your post. I have faith based on what I've seen from them so far. Obviously if they want too long they might lose current active players, but at the same time when the feature comes out they'll likely see a surge of players returning and or new players unless someone else has done this type of game and added custom songs before they can. If that means we have to wait 3-4 months for custom songs, so be it. There can always be a combination of the two. You've got to respect the creative vision while expressing what you want to see. I'd like to see them flush the game out with more official content that they create and then support custom songs. Obviously they've found something special here that works. I tend to agree here, but at the same time I don't want them to divert from their vision of the game right now. This one feature ensures huge longevity for the game. I have played a lot of VR music games but the one I go back to up to this day is Audioshield, because of the custom music support. Originally posted by Nordomus:Custom maps should be a bit higher priority IMO. Given how many people want this, and how common of a request this is with rhythm games, I would have expected a more concrete answer on this by now. Within 4 months you should have a pretty good idea on whether or not this feature is feasible. Because it's been 4 months since you last said you were looking into it. Again, I understand the complexity of this ask and I'm not trying to push for anything but a commitment of "yes we want it and are working on it" or "no we don't want it".Ĭan we get something a little more concrete than "we'll talk to the team" or "we're looking into enabling it". ![]() Do we have a 10% chance this happens? 50%? Never happening? Yes, custom songs are currently possible but you can't honestly tell me this is how you envision custom songs working. I'm asking for an honest assessment of the likelihood this happens at all from the dev team. I'm not asking for a release date to hold you to. Hoping for a dev reply here, but what are the actual chances of us seeing custom maps / tracks sometime in the future? You've got a lot of people saying they want it, and a lot of people saying they would buy the game if it had it.
